Dedication
I begin this blog with the following statement. It's a quote from our Founding Fathers with which the reader may be familiar:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.Would that we as a country were familiar with the tru meaning of these words.
Somehow we have lost our way in our capability to read 218 years after the establishment of the U.S. Constitution. The words ...or prohibiting the free exercise thereof don't mean what they say, and many in the MSM seem to have forgotten what the words ...freedom of speech, or of the press as they work to discredit the validity of blogging. This blog is dedicated to defining and defending the true meaning of the First Amendment and hopefully energizing and new fervor for its original principles.
